Papa’s Herb x Visual Dealers x Matcafilms — A Venice Beach Pre-Shoot with High California Vibes

At Visual Dealers, a Los Angeles-based production company, we recently teamed up once again with our longtime creative partners at Matcafilms for a fresh branded content shoot for Papa’s Herb. This marks another exciting chapter in our 5+ year creative partnership with Matcafilms and creative director Matías Cardozo, blending the soul of Barcelona with the bold spirit of Los Angeles.


This photo and video pre-shoot is a foundational step toward an upcoming, retro-inspired campaign — but this time, we focused on Venice Beach, tapping into the present moment with a carefree, vibrant aesthetic that screams California lifestyle.


Capturing the Venice State of Mind


The concept was simple but rich: take the laid-back, sun-drenched vibe of Venice Beach and infuse it with the personality of the Papa’s Herb brand. We showcased their premium vapes, merchandise, and hero products in a series of candid, lifestyle-driven setups — from vintage cars and boardwalks to beachside hangs and palm-framed silhouettes.

This wasn’t about polished perfection — it was about energy, authenticity, and letting the product speak through visual storytelling that feels lived-in and real.

The shoot featured:

  • Creative Director: Matías Cardozo (Matcafilms)

  • Director: Chino Jones

  • Content Creator: Joaquín Feijóo, bringing dynamic visual energy as part of the Visual Dealers x Matcafilms synergy

  • Featured Talent: Anastasia, who once again delivered charisma and cool in front of the lens

Together, we brought the concept to life — playful, sunlit, and true to Papa’s Herb’s roots in California culture.




Looking Ahead: From Venice to the Psychedelic 60s

While this shoot leans heavily into the now, it also serves as a visual moodboard for what’s coming next. We’re currently in pre-production for a bold, colorful campaign inspired by the 1960s — think psychedelic visuals, vibrant energy, and iconic design references that will push the creative boundary for Papa’s Herb even further.

This project stands as yet another testament to the power of cross-continental collaboration. With roots in Barcelona and Los Angeles, the connection between Visual Dealers and Matcafilms continues to evolve and grow, delivering branded content that not only looks great — but tells real stories that connect.
